My Story

My journey into health and wellbeing began during my MSci in Medical Neuroscience, a time marked by profound personal change as I lost my stepfather to early-onset dementia and began my own path through therapy. I went on to spend eight years immersed in scientific and academic research, including becoming a published psychologist and embarking on a PhD programme in Psychology which included an MSc in Social Psychology.

During this time, I experienced another deep personal loss—my father passed away while I was completing my master’s degree. This loss became a turning point, and learning to self-care catapulted me into the wellness field. I realised I was ready to step away from the grey, structured world of academia and into a career filled with colour, connection, and joy.

I made the leap: I left my PhD, trained as a certified Health and Wellbeing Coach, and began facilitating group sessions of up to 30 people—experiences that were as enriching for me as they were for my clients. Alongside my professional development, I’ve continued a deep personal journey of healing and growth. I'm constantly exploring new approaches to holistic therapy, trauma recovery, body connection, and emotional resilience—tools that have helped me rediscover my own joy, and which I now share with others who choose to invest in their futures.
